Hi,
Is it possible to pay my balance using gift cards?
I was planning to go to Sams club and buy the 3 pack discounted to save about $155. Is there a limit on how many cards I can use?
I have $600 worth of $50 gift cards - can I combine all of them onto one gift card - even though the card says $50 on the front of it?
Questions.
Are there any places at DW that won't take gift cards?
Also, can you use your magic band to charge to your room then pay with gift cards upon checking out?
Thanks
Yep! $150 for $142.87.Thank you. I think I can get cards from my local Sam's club.
Do you know if you have to pay tax when you purchase these cards at Sam's club??Yep! $150 for $142.87.
There's no sales tax on gift cards.Do you know if you have to pay tax when you purchase these cards at Sam's club??
I didn't think so... thanks. There's no sales tax on gift cards.
Yes, you can pay the balance of your room only ressie with as many gift cards as you want. Just give them to the CM when you check in and they will apply them to your balance until the bill is paid. Did this exact thing in December.I didn't think so... thanks.
Does anyone know if you can pay the balance of your room when you get there with these gift cards and how? We booked a room only and the balance isn't due till check in I believe.
If you will be checking in later in the day, you may want to pay it off before check-in, by calling and making the payment over the phone. I only say this because there has been a couple of times that they had already charged our balance against our CC by the time we checked in. Our last couple of trips including spending $$ has all been paid for with GCsI didn't think so... thanks.

We like to use cardpool and Target to get double discounts on our GCs and then combine them all on to a few cards using the Disney GC site.I have never had that happen. I had 5 room only ressies last year and 2 were late check ins...1 was after 9pm....3 different resorts. Not one charged my card. They should not be doing that because if you are a "no show" the only thing you are responsible for is the first night (which you have already paid for with your deposit!). Something doesn't sound right with them already having charged your card before you arrived for a room only.If you will be checking in later in the day, you may want to pay it off before check-in, by calling and making the payment over the phone. Thank you. I'll have to look into Target and gift card. Did you all find that you saved a significant amount of money by doing this??If you will be checking in later in the day, you may want to pay it off before check-in, by calling and making the payment over the phone. Buying a Target GC from cardpool at (example only) 5% off and then using it on Target's website to purchase Disney GCs for another 5% off, you'll save 10% off of the face value of the Disney GCs. That adds up to a nice chunk of savings when you're spending thousands of dollars on your vacation.Thank you. I'll have to look into Target and gift card.
