Paying to upgrade at check in?

Is it possible to ask at check in if CL is available & pay the difference?

We are booked at BWI & won't have the $ for it until a day or two before so our plans were to try at check in & pay then..

As long as they have availability, it shouldn't be a problem

What are you upgrading? If its room only to a package that will include dining, then it has to be 5 days prior to check in.

As the pp said, if there is availability, there shouldn't be a problem; however, if you are booked with a discount, discounts don't usually carry over when upgrading at check in, so the cost might be the difference at rack rate. I would still inquire about upgrading as you never know, but just wanted you to be prepared in case the amount for the upgrade is a lot more than what you were expecting.

Thanks mickeynut!! Didn't even think about that possibility but ill ask & see what happens, I'm not asking for it free that's for sure, I believe in getting what I pay for.

No I have a package booked just thinking about upgrading to CL but if I do ill have to wait until check in to come up with the extra cash!
