Hi, I'm sure this has been asked and answered many times, but I just want to make sure. We just got back from DW and using the DDP for the first time. We are dvc, so it was never available to us before. We loved it!! However the next time we go (February)my ds will either be turning 10 when we are there or we may go the next week and he will be 10. He eats like a bird...He was the one who couldn't finish any kids meals this past trip. My other two kids seem to eat more than him. Anyway, I know it was possible in 2006, though we never tried it, but in 2007 will we be able to pay oop for him off of the kid's menu and use his adult credits at another time?? Or could he even share off of everyone's else's food?? Also, what happens when he turns 10, do we pay the kids price for part of the week and the adult price the rest?? Thanks!!

If he turns 10 during your trip, you would pay the child price for him for the entire week. In that case, his meal entitlements cannot be used for adult meals, sorry. For further information about that, you'll need to talk with Disney directly.

If he will already be 10 when your trip begins, you would pay regular price for him for the entire week. In that case, what you're suggesting doesn't violate Disney's current rules. However, please keep in mind that it isn't possible to know what rules and/or means of enforcement Disney will employ that far in the future.

Thanks!! My Dh wants to go the week after his birthday....But if we go the week of his birthday then we could keep him as a child. That is so much easier I think, then paying OOP for him if he is considered an adult. We so rarely let the kids get their own everything when we go out to eat (someone is always sharing with someone), it was such a treat that they could do it the whole time at DW while we were just there on the DDP.
