Paying off cruise on Disney Chase????

I am getting ready to pay off my disney cruise through DU who has my ressie. Is there an advantage to paying it off with my disney visa vs my american express? Any advantage to points earned?

Not sure about the difference in points but I got a quote for a Disney Cruise recently and there were several onboard credits. One of them was an onboard credit if I used my Disney Visa so you might inquire about that...

Did you make your deposit with your Disney Visa? If so, then you will have 6 months at 0% interest to pay off your bill. There are also onboard credits that apply if you booked using your Disney Visa.

You don't get any extra points just because it's a Disney expense unless you have the premier version of the Disney Visa, where you get 2% in rewards dollars for Disney purchases normally or 5% during the initial 3-month promotional period.

You will also still get your reward points to use and you can use them during your vacation. I don't know if AE offers any incentives but if they don't then I would go with the Disney visa so you are still getting something.
