I'd just like to say thanks once again to the wonderful folks on the DIS, and those who came up with this idea. We recently received cards for our three kids thanks to a DIS member, and will be sending out cards to some other DIS'ers when we go in August. What a great community this is.

I hope this is not too radical an idea. Perhaps someone would like to send Postcards to kids from characters AFTER they have returned home. Just a thought.

I think that is a great idea. We can do both if anyone wants.
My husband and I will be at WDW Sept. 17-22 and would love to send out cards. Just PM me you info and let me know if it is a pre vacation or post vacation card. Not sure how many we can do, I figure at lest 10 durning this trip.

I'm so glad I found this site, we have season passes so when we don't have black out dates we go at lest once or twice a month and would love to make this a new tradition everytime we go.

I always wanted to be a princess, but I will definitely settle for being a Fairy Godamiler. If you would like a postcard from a character sent by me, send me a PM. I can do up to ten. I will be there from July 24th until August 9th.

I also drop one in the mail on my way out of the hotel addressed to my kids "thanking them for coming" from their favorite characters. I have done this since they were one and now the old ones still think it is for real!

I did this last trip to DW, in 03/07 and loved it. We will be back in DW 09/06 - 09/14 and would love to do it again. First 3 PMs I get will rec postcards. Please let me know if you want special character, child's name(s) on card, etc.
