What are your Disney pet peeves?

I have a ton of pet peeves in life in general, and at WDW. Sadly, I'm late to this party and most of them are already taken.

So here's one that is a pet peeve, but also usually freaks me out a little bit:

When random park-goers think that they are being friendly and "pixie-dusting" people, usually kids, with random crap that nobody wants. My kids just always kind of politely take whatever piddly little tchotchke they are handing out and then stand there awkwardly.

I LOVE star wars, so it always annoys me when I visit GE that the whole place is a made-up storyline instead of something drawn from one of the movies. Nothing is recognizable until you get to the MF ride.

People who say they have to be glued to their phone! No you don’t! Seriously, it’s a choice and it isn’t necessary. You can have a great time winging it or even using your phone intermittently but crying about your battery dying because you were on your phone the entire day is ridiculous. People like to talk about the magic being gone. It’s not, it’s all around you there, you’re just missing it! Put your phone down!

The big one would have to be the removal of EE at DLR.
I also loathe the lightning lane system and the need to be on your phone if you want to utilize it. RIP free paper fast passes.
What also comes to mind is the moving of Mickey's Halloween Party to DCA renaming it Oogie Boogie Bash and how it is now impossible to get tickets because they have created a niche thing lol

I loved it so much more when it was at Disneyland, now we dont even go

There should be priority ADR booking for guests of that resort!

People staying at Riviera should have first dibs on Topolino’s during their trip, etc etc etc

Or those people who feel entitled to place themselves directly in front of you right as the parade is about to start while you’ve been camped out for 8 years…

This happened to us we were sitting on the sidewalk and these girls just came right in front of us and tried to sit in the little space between our feet and the curb and began pushing themselves back so we had to move back! Called a cm and they refused to move and were literally sitting in my feet at that point so security got called and everything and they were still waiting to move.

Another fun one was when it was the christmas parade and a lady in an ecv did not want anyone to stand next to her because she said she had been waiting for a while and she cannot have a fully obstructed view if someone is to the right of her. That ofc did not stand lol

How can I forget my #1 pet peeve ever. Dogs in the park with "Service dog" vests from Amazon that are clearly not service dogs. I saw a lady in the Emporium the other day with three chihuahuas. It bothers me that California doesnt allow a business to ask for documentation if a dog is a service dog.

At gfv the hotel is all done up for Christmas and I can’t emphasize enough how unpleasant the main lobby is. The lobby is absolute chaos with non hotel guests. It’s so bad I’ve decided to never come back to gfv during the holidays

I believe a hotel should be welcoming and relaxing. Gfv is anything but relaxing. It’s just stressful

It’s not that the hotel guests are crowding the resort. It’s non guests

General gist:

The Christmas season bombardment of day guests at Grand Flo needed better management because of how badly it impacted resort guests’ ability to utilize the resort amenities and transportation. Basically the main two opposing sentiments were that’s an entitled/elitist view and it must be increasing Disney profits because it wouldn’t exist otherwise.

In 2025 Grand Flo stated the Gingerbread House would not be displayed due to ongoing lobby construction. Made sense. Now I’m also seeing the 2026 Easter display has been downsized, making me wonder what management has decided for the 2026 Christmas Season.

Another potential clue is WL 2025, which also had a sizable amount of day guests during the Christmas season:
