Click on the persons "name" to the left of their message, I think the second one down says send a private message, click on that. You will get a new window to type a message to that person. When you receive a PM private message you will get a pop up that tells you that you have one. I have PM'd you so you should have gotten one. You can reply to the PM just as you would to an e-mail.
