Hi folks - sorry to randomly butt in and not read the last 95 pages, but I'm wondering two quick things

1) How long does it take a postcard to get from DW to most places (let's say Virginia)
My two young ones still don't know!!! [so hard, keeping it a secret though] we're getting to go for christmas (19-23) so I figured this would be a great way to surprise them

2) Is it a man thing that I find it slightly 'unusual' (or maybe, difficult, is the word), to just randomly PM someone on the list and ask someone to do it?
