I just spent a week at WDW and post cards are getting hard to find. Lots of fireworks, castle, princesses & Mickey Mouse. No Pooh cards at all except for a special card at MGM at the artist tour exit. Then I went shopping off park property and found a much larger selection - Pooh, Pooh & Tigger, Tigger,Donald Duck, etc. I guess not that many folks are sending post cards these days - they use the email machines at EPCOT. I was looking for a Goofy card, Tigger card, Prince Charming, Capt. Hook, etc.

We are going in December 2006 and I would love to do this for someone!! This sounds sooooo awesome!! Anyone going before December willing to do it for two kids?

I'm getting excited just thinking about the JOY this creates!! Awesome!!

I have a DD (5) who is into princesses and a DS(7) who is into Mickey Mouse, Buzz, Star Wars etc. They would be thrilled to get a postcard. PM me and I will give details. This is a great idea. I am new to Dis and am still trying to learn the dis language like PM. It took me a while to figure that out. The FAQ section should always be the first place to look.

Anyway, we are going in the middle of Aug. I would love for someone to send my 2 DDs postcards. I would also like to send cards to someone else. Send me a PM if you are going after mid Aug and I will send you cards. If you are going before and would be willing to send my girls a card then also let me know and I will send you my info.

Ok...I have responses to me offering to send out postcards (can do manybe one more too)...anyhow...my question is this...since this is obviously my first time doing this...

How do most of you write the postcards? Isn't anyone worried that the kids will notice, once they get the character's signature, that they will notice a difference in hand writing? And what types of things do you write on the cards? Also, any other experienced postcard senders out there who would like to share 'how' they do this would be great.

I am just asking for suggestions. My daughter is so excited that we are doing this and is planning to do most of it on her own, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am sure you all have people signed up already (the ones who previously offered) but we are going June 24-July 1 and my daughter would LOVE to have a postcard from a princess saying "Cant Wait to See You" or soemthing like that. Of course I would be happy to do the same for someone else who is going to the world after we are.
