I haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this is duplicate info, but just wanted to mention that there are Disney "Friends are Forever" postcards at the Post Office (and usps.com) - from the first set of Disney friends stamps (Mickey-Donald-Goofy; Pinocchio-Jimminy Cricket; Bambi-Thumper; Simba+Mufasa). They are $.25 each.

They also have sets of 20 pre-stamped ones from the first and second sets of stamps - $9.75 ? The second set is about celebrations and includes (Mickey-Pluto; Alice-Mad Hatter; Ariel-Flounder; Snow White-Dopey).

We went last month and sent out about 20 postcards. I came home with about ten postcards leftover so I figured I'd put this offer out there...

If you'd like to have a postcard sent to one of your kids -AND- it doesn't matter that it won't have a FL postmark (it'll be coming out of NC) then I'd be glad to send one. I guess this will probably only work for very young kids that won't understand about postmarks!

I know I am early but we are going on 02/15/06 to 02/20/06 and the past June I really enjoyed sending the postcards out. PM me if I can be of service, include name, address, favorite character and a personal tidbit that I can include on the postcard.

Do you actually get the character autograph on the cards or do you sign them? Just curious as I wouldn't want to do it wrong. Is there a special place to mail them so they have a Disney post mark?

i take it you just sign the characters name thats on the front, mine was posted in Orlando so, that should be good enough . i know my dd is, hasn`t stopped telling everyone that minnie and mickey sent her a card from Orlando.
