Hi. We are arriving at WDW on 12/4. Is anyone going anytime between now, and, say, 11/20 who could mail postcards to my DH, Sean (4) and Ryan (6)? Something like,

"Hey Ryan!!!! I'm so excited about you coming to visit!!! Looking forward to meeting you!" Signed Peter Pan

And one to Sean from Dash or Dumbo (his two favorites) and maybe one for my DH who doesn't understand the magic, yet.

We'll be there 12/4-12/14 and I'd be happy to send postcards or something for some others.

When your child gets the postcard, please take a moment to email a "thank you" to the sender. They just like to know that the card got where it was supposed to be going...

I just found this thread! What an awesome idea!

I will be at WDW 11/27-30/05 and am willing to send some postcards. PM me with addresses and info.

If anyone is there before 10/22, my 3yr DGD and 12yr DS would love to receive postcards. I may be too late, though.

My kids got their postcards this weekend and were amazed. My DD 13 can't figure out how this was done. She even went and looked up the zipcode to see where they were mailed from.

I will be willing to take on 4 kids for our trip. PM me and let me know particulars and your vacation dates.

I really like this idea. If someone could just clarify for me:when we send the PC are we signing it as a character or as ourselves-in WDW-wishing the next person a great trip?

I will be there in Feb. 2/17 to 2/25. DD BD is 2/18. I would be willing to send to someone else-I know that is a long time away. Let me know.

I want to thank my fairy godmailers for the post cards! DD4 is very excited and she got one wishing her Happy Birthday (today is her birthday and she hasn't seen it yet!).

Btw, we leave for the world friday next week and I can send a couple more post cards, PM me if you are interested.

Thank you to our fairies. Our children were thrilled! So was my BF, she got one about her birthday which we are celebrating there.

We are leaving on Sept 29 to Nov 5. I just bought Disney stamps today so pm me and I will send out to you! Adults or kids, it's all about Disney

You can send them from the hotel. At one time you could drop them in the mail box outside of city hall in the MK and they would actually be stamped / cancelled from the MK (or so I was told) but not sure if tht is true anymore.

Second I posted this a couple of month's ago and just want to remind folks that even though we all share a love of Disney there are some who cruise these kind of boards that are not of the same sort. Please just remember that these boards are open to the public and be comfortable to those that you send your personel information too, specially about kids. This came to mind because in my small part of the world in rural New Hampshire yesterday someone tried to talk a 7 yr old girl into his truck as she was waiting for the school bus in her driveway. The girl did the right thing yeld no and ran back up her driveway her mom had been watching from the window and came flying out. The guy split and everything is ok but just reminded me that it can be a hard world out there. Sorry for not so magical thoughts but far better to be safe then sorry.

I agree with this. DBF and I sent out 6 postcards on our trip about two weeks ago and have not heard a single thing from anyone we sent to. It is a very nice thing for people to take time out of their vacations to send your children (or you) a postcard. The least anyone can do is send out a thank you.
