The previous poster just gave me an idea.

For my DD 13th birthday, DH and I are surprising her with a trip to WDW. I've been struggling with a "creative" and "fun" way to tell her. A postcard from Tink would solve all my problems.

Unfortunately her birthday is next Friday, if there's anybody out there who could help me I'd be eternally grateful. (Or if you have any other ideas, I'm all ears) (excuse the pun)

This is a wonderful idea. I am going to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday Nov.4. I can send out a few postcards too. Just tell me who to send them to, what character should be on the postcard, what to write and where to send them. I will reply back to the first few who PM me to let them know that I will be sending them their cards.

That is a great thought! But since the anthrax scares I thought we couldn't sent stuff to "Any Service Person" anymore. Anyone know how to send something to military personnel when you don't have a specific person's name?

Actually you can send stuff. We do it all the time and don't know anyone. You can call your local VFW and sometimes your town hall will know. Definately your state rep would too.

I will be in WDW Nov 17-25 and would be happy to send 5 or 6 postcards to some kids to just make their day.

I am from the Cape so I am not sure who you would drop them off with. My daughters and I buy random stuff and drop it off usually at our reps office in town. Good Luck. I will try to find out tomorrow and post it if I find out anything.
