We will be purchasing our dining plan for our upcoming trip in September. I want to pay for it now so that I don't have to worry about it later and that I don't start dipping in to it for 'emergencies'. Can I pay for it now???

Are you staying with DVC points or have you bought a package?
I can't answer if it is DVC.
But with a package you have to pay that in advance anyway.
I am not so sure WDTC accepts partial payments any longer. :confused3

for those who book packages for check-ins on or before 9/21 (?) and providing they aren't sold out, yes.

I'm staying DVC, so I can't benefit from the free dining plan..... unless some one knows something that I don't know.

If you're staying DVC, then you pay for the dining plan at the front desk at check in. You might consider purchasing traveler's checks or Diney dollars for the amount of your dining plan to keep yourself from dipping into it.

WOrd of warning - DO NOT purchase the Disney gift cards they sell at Disney Store for your DP money, though. Last time we were at WDW, they couldn't take those as a form of payment at the hotel front desks. They will work everywhere else and are great for souvenir/extra snack money, though!

Have a great trip!

:thumbsup2

resorts used to have an issue with the gift cards, it should be resolved by now though.
