Paying for parking fee the day of check-in

I have a strange question. We are staying at AKL-Kidani for one night. The morning we check in, we have a reservation at Crystal Palace at 8:05am. I'm assuming we won't get over to AKL to check-in in-person (i'll have already checked-in online) before our ADR so I'll have to pay the $14 parking fee. Is there any way to get around not paying the $14 since we will be resort guests that day? Does online check-in give you a parking pass? Would I get a refund when I check-into AKL that afternoon? Has anyone been in this situation before?

Do you have pre purchased park tickets? Or are they part of your package? If they are part of your package, then you have to check in at the resort to get your KTTW for park entry.

When you check in at the resort you will be given a parking pass. I doubt that they will give you a refund on your parking fee, since you could have checked into the resort before going to the park. It only takes a few minutes if you have done online checkin. Why not save yourself the hassle, and get to DisneyWorld a little earlier than planned, check in and take the bus to MK?

Others have reported that yes they have gotten the parking fee refunded at check-in.

They will also refund it if you buy an AP that day in a park.

We have YES tickets that we are picking up the day before. Our ADR is at 8:05am and we plan on leaving our condo at WH around 7:00am to get to the TTC, thru bag check and turnstiles and snap a few pictures on an empty Main Street. Do you think AKL would check us in at 6:30am?

Hopefully they will refund the parking fee. I'll report back on the DIS in two weeks!

The resort will check you in whenever you get there and will keep any bags you may have but your room may not be ready. They will text or call your cell phone when your room is ready.
