Paying for MagicBands with gift card?

I was trying to order our MagicBand+ for our August trip, and wanted to use some of our gift cards to pay. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do that - would I have any better luck calling? I am not even sure what number/department I would call. Have anyone been able to do this?

So far, it seems like the general consensus on other threads here is no. I was not able to do it. You could probably use gift cards on Shop Disney, but you would not get the pre-arrival resort discount.
