paying for dvc annual with gift cards

where do I call to use gift cards for annual pass. I will be buying 3

I want to pay with $50 gift cards. Can I pay with more than 2?

I've read on the dis about folks faxing multiple gift cards for the purpose of paying off a larger purpose. I've never done that. I know you can set up a Disney Vacation account where you can load all of those gcs and then use that account to pay the larger account.
I personally had a bit of an issue when doing this, only because the DVC cast member didn't know how to apply the Disney vac acct $. We were able to get one GC refunded from the Vacation account (vs the 12 I had loaded), and I then used that towards dues. It was essentially the same end result, just a bit more work.

I've paid our dues with the $50 gift cards for the past 2 years. I just have to call member services to get the fax number, then write out the full card number for each card and fax it to them. Usually I put my email at the bottom, and they send me an email when it's all processed (usually a week or so).

It seems the front-line people can't handle more than two gift cards for a ticket purchase. You either have to get transferred to the ticketing department or buy on-site. The alternative is to load all your gift cards into a Disney Vacation Account which you can then use to purchase the tickets.

This is what we did last year when we paid for dvc annual passes with gift cards. Called member services to purchase and then they transferred me to the ticketing department to process the gift cards.

You can also use the DVA for online purchases. I purchased 3 of the PAP specials last year with them. If you're on the phone, you just tell them to put it through as a gift card. No point in telling them it's a DVA, just confuses them.

If you want to buy AP with multiple GC, I would just call the ticket line directly rather than go through MS. MS tends to tell you no, then transfer you over to ticketing anyways.

I was told by MS to call Ticketing and get do opton 5. I called to double check and they said they are the only one that takes multiple cards.
Will see how well it works tomorrow. The CM did also say I might be able to get all cards loaded on one card from a place that sells Disney cards.

Back to post my response from MS. Called and was told that they cannot take more than 2 forms of payment, i.e. 1 GC and 1 CC. BUT, he was extremely helpful, called ticketing, explained that I wanted to purchase DVC Annual Pass Renewals and had multiple GC's to use, connected me to ticketing agent, gave all 32 GC #'s and done. Easy, got my confirmation #, added to DME, assigned to my party, transaction completed. Very easy and smooth process, no problems whatsoever.

Nope. You can load multiple cards to a Disney Vacation Account, which can be used for some, but not all of the same charges as a gift card. But you will not be able to combine gift cards anywhere.
