paying for a room

I have a question about paying for a hotel room. After I book the room (which will be next week!!! Yay!), I will owe them like $700ish. Last year we paid it all off at check in. My question is this:
My budgetting skills are not very good. Saving money and not touching it isn't something I do well. So, like once a month can I call Disney and give them like $300ish towards the room, so I don't have to worry? Probably not, but I figured I'd ask.

Disney reservations said you couldn't make payments online for a room only reservation but you could make payments over the phone. There is a $20.00 minimum payment requirement.

If you booked a package, you can make payments online or via phone. There is also a $20.00 minimum payment requirement.
