To me, gift cards are actually the hassle. Both buying them and combining them and then using multiple cards each visit. That's why I never buy gift cards but do use the ones that are gifted to me. Charging to room and pay it down each night as you enter is way easier for me.

But why even use gift cards instead of your normal plastic or cash?

I mean I like room charging but I do not worry about paying balances down etc... going through that hassle in my opinion makes it not worth it

I only use the gift cards that people gift me (birthday or christmas).

I only pay it down at night when I bring the whole famdamily. We go in three weeks and I figure each day will have over $1 grand of charges. When the wife and I go and it is just us, I don't worry about it till the last night.
