My plane back to Milwaukee doesn't leave until about 7:30 P.M. I will be staying in a two bedroom at OKW that costs 24 points per night.

I plan to reserve the room for the night I leave so that I will not need to spend the time from 11 AM until my flight as a homeless person.

How many of you have ever done this? I have 500 points.

If you have so many points, why not use them? Or request a "lock-off" studio and just move into the studio. But if you are not going to the parks on your final day, the 2-bedroom is a nicer place to relax.

I've done this on many trips. I stay in a studio so the amount of points is minimal.

Might be worth it for a weekday considering you have enough points to make it happen. I would have a harder time justifying it for a weekend night.

I would agree that it might be a good idea to downsize but to a 1 bedroom instead of a studio, so you have the kitchen, etc. If you would be spending the whole time in the room on check out day, then just keep the whole 2 bedroom. I think it is only a difference of 8 points? That way everyone can sleep in and not even start packing until after noon.

If you are thinking of downsizing, please be adware that the same room is not guaranteed. So, you would run the risk of having to change rooms which would negate the whole idea of keeping the room for a few extra hours.

tvwalsh, In your case, if you have the points, just keep the 2 bedroom for the extra night.

Did it yesterday. Reserved a studio for last night and flew out at 10 pm back home.
