Pay it Forward Postcards

Is there a Canadian version of this? I have seen this on the main boards, but I was wondering that since our postage is slightly higher if there is a Canadian Version?

This is when some who goes a few weeks before you sends your kids a postcard from a Disney Character saying "See you soon". Than when you are on your trip, you do this for someone else.

I imagine that we would have to do it a few weeks in advance, to get to Canada on time.

Anyway, my DD would love this if anyoen can direct me to the thread. Thank you!

I posted on the regular fairy godmailer list before our Dec trip, and ended up with a wonderful Canadian mom who helped us out. Disney sells post both postcard stamps for the USA and Canada, so I ended up doing the same during our trip. Pretty fun on both the receiving and giving end.

We are going in less than three weeks. I would be willing to send a postcard. I think it is really cute idea. It's probably to late for us to receive one but DS is only 2 so he would get much out of it anyway.

I've participated on the regular U.S. board several times and I"ve never had a problem finding someone to send to us in Canada.

Just be sure to mention that you live in Canada in your original post. Most people don't mind a little extra postage.

We went in January and I just sent out a note asking a fellow DISer if they would send a card. We had a reply almost instantly from a great Canadian DISer and he sent a wonderful card to DD in early December.

We returned the favor when we were there in Jan. It takes so little time and is such a great keepsake. It is really wonderful when someone does it! I totally reccommend everyone do this if they can!

This sounds like a wonderful way to addmore to wonder that is already Disney.We are going for the first time in Oct.Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction in trying to make this happen for my DD 8.
