Pay for Parking at Chef Mickey's?

I can't remember from my last visit.

Do you have to pay to Park at the Contemporary when you eat at the character breakfast?

no, you'll get a 3 hour permit

If you valet park it's 10.00 + tip. If your parking in the regular guest lot it's free.

No, you don't but you'll have to move your car when you are done eating. Sometimes it's just more convenient to park at the TTC and monorail to the CR and then head to MK.

Onsite guests park free at the TTC.

That's if the OP goes to the Magic Kingdom after their meal at Chef Mickey's. If they are not planning to do that, then there is nothing wrong with parking at the Contemporary.
