Welcome Ya’ll,
This is my first my first ever PTR, so I hope I live up to the standards of you fellow DisBoards followers. With that said let me introduce the cast for this upcoming Food & Wine Fest Trip.

ME: My name is Amanda and I am 25yrs old. I was raised in a very strong Disney family, so I can’t even count the number of time I have been. I live in The Tampa Bay area of Florida with my DH Louis and our little doggie Bella. I am absolutely, positively obsessed with Disney. There is nothing better than driving into “The World” and leaving all you problems on the outside. Disney also holds a very special place in my heart because that is where my DH proposed to me and it’s where we spent half of our honeymoon.

DH: As stated above my DH is Louis. He is 31yrs old and was NOT raised in a Disney family. When we first starting dating, my family and I already had a weeklong trip planned for the Ploy. We were able to add him to reservations; however he could not understand how we planned to stay an entire week at Disney. “There can’t be that much to do at that place.” Boy was he wrong!! After that trip he can’t seem to get enough of the World. That trip was June of 2005, in March of 2006 Louis proposed at Victoria and Albert’s and in May of 2007we spent 4 nights at the Grand Floridian on our Honeymoon.

DF: Lee is my daddy, yes I said daddy. I may be 25, but I will always be a daddy’s girl. My DF is one of those secret Disney lovers. He doesn’t really talk about how he feels about it but he has such a relaxed feeling at Disney that he will often ask when our next trip is scheduled. My DF is also a Resort SNOB. His absolute favorite resort is the GF CL Main Building. Now that is what you call a SNOB LOL. Anyways we are all more than happy to go with him to the GF anytime.

DM: My mom is Barbara (BarbP). I think she maybe just as much obsessed about Disney as I am. We are always planning trips together and can’t wait for the next one. She is also one of best friends and an amazing mom! I think her favorite resort would have to be the Ploy. However she also enjoys the GF and the CR.

DB: Jared is my big brother. He is 28yrs old. While he hasn’t found that special lady to complete his life, he enjoys traveling with us to the most magical place on earth. Jared really doesn’t care where we stay because all the beds and TV’s are the same to him.

Great start the this report!!!!

So here finally are the details of this upcoming trip!

Date: Friday, November 5th – Tuesday November 9th (5 Days & 4 Nights)
Resort: Polynesian Hawaii Building Club Level
Dining Plan: Deluxe Dining Planning

We have been planning this trip for months now so all our ADR’s are made and ready to go. As stated above we will be doing the Food & Wine Fest which has become a tradition amongst the Paulson/Marello’s. I tend to be an organized neat freak so we pretty much have a schedule set for each day there. For the most part we can take our time and enjoy everything; however I will be sure we make every ADR on time. Food is very important to me, especially Disney food. SO here is the Itinerary we have thus far:

Friday November 5th – We live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida so we will be driving over to Disney. We plan on leaving our house around 7:30am. We have to drop our little doggie Bella off at Camp Bow Wow in Riverview. This is on the way so we will get her settled and then off we go. With good traffic (not sure on a Friday morning) we should arrive at the Poly around 10:00-10:30. We will check in and then head over to MK for ADR at 11:45 at the Plaza. Even with all our trips to Disney we have never eaten at the Plaza. We plan on taking it easy and getting all situated in our room. Dinner that night is at 7:30 at Citricos. We went to Citricos one time and wasn’t that impressed, however everyone else seems to really like it so we thought we should try it again.

Saturday November 6th – WOOHOO its Food & Wine Fest time!!! The World Show case doesn’t open until 11:00, so prior to that we will hit the front of Epcot. Since we will be eating so much around the world, we do not have Breakfast or Lunch ressies. That night however will be Yachtsman Steakhouse at YCR. This a first for us so we are pretty excited.

Sunday November 7th – We plan on going to DHS. I hope to be there at opening so we can do TSM. LOVE THAT RIDE!!! Lunch is scheduled for 12:00pm at Mama Melrose’s, another new meal! Afternoon will be another relaxing day with ADR at Artist Point at 6:40. Can’t wait for the Smokey Portobello Soup!!

Monday November 8th – The plan for this day is DAK. We can’t get enough of EE so that will be the first ride we hit. Lunch is at Yak & Yeti, another new one! I just realized that this trip is full of new dining options. Anyways, Dinner that night is at our all time favorite restaurant, Narcoossee’s!

Tuesday November 9th – Last Day ! We only have lunch scheduled at The Crystal Palace. After that we will play it by ear and then head home to pick up Bella.

I am so excited about this trip and I hope you will join in as I report live from the World!!!
