Paula Abdul fans, please explain.........

I took my son to see Star Wars last night, and during our waiting, they had quotes from various people popping up in between snack bar advertisements. Well, this one was attributed to Paula Abdul, and it went something like, "My life has been very similar to Forrest Gump". Is this an accurate quote and if so, was it taken out of context? I don't follow her much, but I really think she's been in show business most of her life, so I don't believe she's been on a shrimp boat, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't in combat or in an altercation with the Black Panthers, so anybody know if this is accurate and what she meant by that? I am just curious.

I think she probably mean't that she was lucky and sort of fell into it. I would bet she didn't mean she was on a shrimp boat or fighting in a war, just that much like Forrest she was blessed.

Paula has less brains than talent!

She has talent. At one point, she was one of the most sought after choreographers (sp.? dance arrangers) in the nation. A very hard worker. She has moved around a lot thru different aspect of show business. Maybe she means her life is as varied as a box of chocolates and she's not sure what the next flavor will be. (I don't claim to be an expert on figuring out any of these Hollywood people )
