As always its Epcot on the first day, but first we got our refillable mugs and had breakfast at the Pepper Market.
We arrived just after park opening, Spaceship Earth looked naked without the wand.
We headed for the Land pavilion went on Soarin after riding we picked up a fastpass for later before going on Living with the Land and Circle of Life. Next we went to the Seas pavilion and after the cute ride in a clam shell we did Turtle Talk with Crush. It was now time to return to Soarin for a second time.
Ruth wanted to see the new Canada film, so we headed up to World Showcase.
The new film is very good with new and old footage presented by Martin Short. The updated Canada Youre A Lifetime Journey performed by Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila was very good, hopefully it will be on the next park cd when it gets released.
We continued around World Showcase and decided to have lunch at the Tangerine Café in Morocco since we had never eaten there before. Ruth had the Chicken platter and I went for the Lamb platter with a Baklava pastry for dessert.
After lunch we watched the American Adventure before continuing around the world to China where we caught the Acrobats.
In need of some air-con we headed inside to watch Reflections of China then continued our tour around the world to Mexico and a ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour.
We had a reservation at the Yacht Club Galley for dinner so we walked to the Yacht club via the International Gateway. We just made it before the heavens opened and since we were a bit early we decided to have a coffee and watch everyone running in from the rain.
For dinner we both went for the Galley Crab Cakes to start.
I had originally planned to have the Sirloin Steak, but the waiter talked me into the Prime Rib special, big mistake, the meat was not nice and was certainly not medium well as I had asked.
Ruth went for the Sirloin Steak which she enjoyed.
For dessert I went for the Chocolate Mousse which was very nice
Ruth had the Boston Cream Pie.
After the meal we headed back to Epcot to watch illuminations before heading back to the room for the night.
