Patterns for Crotcheting (or knitting) CHristmas stockings

My mother is teaching me to both crotchet and knit and I have picked up the stitches but have not made anything (besides a scarf for my dog) yet.
I was hoping to make stockings for DH and I for christmas, we got married in November last year and everything up to christmas was so rushed we never got our own stockings. So this year I want to make them to give them to him as a gift.

I was hoping someone might have a pattern (preferably an easy one) for a christmas stocking. I might not have a lot of experience but I do have my mother to help me read patterns and understand what I am doing.
