Patterned Mickey Head directions?

Can anyone tell me how to put a picture or pattern in a Mickey Head? I just learned how to put a picture into letters , but can't seem to figure out how to do the Mickey. I've seen some awesome designs, but would like to try it myself and appreciate any help. BTW, I'm using photoshop elements 6.0.

It should be the same way as with text. The way I do it is to have the mickey head (without background) on one layer and the pattern or picture that I want to use to fill the mickey head on the layer above.

With the pattern / picture layer selected I go to the "Layer" menu up on top and select "Group with previous" and Voila! Hope that helps. I'm using PSE 5.0.

Thanks so much, it totaly worked! I didn't know how to erase the background, so the pattern just went over the whole picture. OOPS! I'm using some of your Mickeys for templates. You rock!
