I just heard JonBenet's mom passed away from ovarian cancer.

I haven't been able to find a link to this story yet.

Wow, I don't know who killed JonBenet, but its sad that she passed. 49 is just so young :sad2:

That's very sad. She fought for years against cancer.

Reading that article made me think that she is now holding her beautiful daughter in haven!

That is too bad...I always considered her proof you could beat that disease. Well, she held it off for a long time.

That's so sad. Reading about JonBenet made me think about another case that I haven't heard about in a while.....I think it was a baby named Sabrina and it was in FL? The parents were the prime suspects, but I never heard how that one turned out?

How sad...but oh how happy that little angel must be to finally be with her mommy again!!! :cloud9:

Sabrina Eisenberg I believe was the baby you are referring to. I wonder what ever happened to that investigation. I think the parents of Sabrina now live in Virginia or somewhere near there. Very sad that they never figured out what happened.

Very sad news. I'm not sure how I feel about the Ramsey family, but no one deserves to be a victim of such a terrible disease :(

That is very sad, but at least she is done suffering. I have studied this case thoroughly (due to being a CJ major) ever since I was 14 years old. I have read every book, seen every special, and everything else that has been released. I am convinced the family did it. Too many lies and inconsistencies, but that doesn't mean she should have suffered from a horrible disease. Only God can (should) judge.

That is sad. May she rest in peace. I don't think she had much peace here during her last 10 or so years.

It's ironic to me that I found out she died when I went on-line a little while ago. Discussing the case of her DD's death in 1997 was the first thing I ever got involved in on the internet. It was on CNN's now defunct discussion boards where my username was JerseyGal or something like that.

I went into those discussions believing that Patsy and/or her husband were responsible for their DD's murder. I'm not sure exactly when, but I have since completely changed my mind.

I don't think that they were ever truly exonerated in the court of public opinion--at least, not to the extent that they were "convicted."

Mrs. Ramsey experienced a great deal of tragedy in her life here on Earth, and I genuinely hope and pray she's in a better place now.

Well some of us out there still believe her to be the non ideal parent and perhaps more then that. So for me sad isn't a word I would use for her passing just one I would use for the probably lack of information we will get in her passing.

Have you read the court ruling from US District Court Judge Julie Carnes?

Rest in peace Patsy.

There behaviour when they "found" their dead child has always left me with a suspision that they did it. I can' imagine how horrible it would be to find a dead child but I certainly would not spend TWO hours cleaning up the crime scene so that the police can not find out who did kill her. Don;t they want the killer found?

This has really saddened me. To lose your young child in such a brutal way and then to die yourself from such a brutal disease is so tragic. :guilty:

I don't recall it happening this way. My understanding is that they did not find the body until the police came in and organized a search of the house. Then John Ramsey screamed from the basement that he'd found her.

It was really the police that made an error. They didn't close the house as a crime scene and let their friends come over to comfort/be with the family. Huge mistake, and probably a big part of making the crime so hard to solve.

Whatever happened she was haunted for the rest of her life, sad that she's gone and there are no answers.
