OMG!!!! I feel like I've been through the wringer! That was a superb game....so close...but that's the way play-off games are supposed to be IMO. The best teams duking it out.

SOOOO glad we came out on top....now it's on to the Colts. Thanks for a great game Charger fans!

BTW, anyone else feel like LT was mad at the wrong people? Every team celebrates after a big game win, don't take it personal and call out another team and their coach.

We are a happy household:cheer2: Go Patriots:cool1:

Yep, the house was rockin'. The good news is everyone is happy. The bad news is I have to go through this again one week from now. (I am a football widow) ;)

Well heck, come join the party! No need to be a widow, you can be the coolest wife in town if you can get interested in the game.

My DH is actualy a football widower, but after 20 years he's finaly starting to like football. What a guy!

Let's Go Pats!!! 2 More Wins!

Yay Patriots! :)

I still think that LT is Lawrence Taylor. . . Ultimate proof that I'm a Giants fan. Anyway.

Yay Patriots! :teeth:

LOL, I keep thinking the same thing! My dad was a huge Giants fan back in the day. And since he had 4 daughters, no sons, well, we learned to love football!

Was anyone else annoyed by the camera coverage? I could hardly see what was going on, it seemed like the camera was so far away. My hubby said its because I'm used to watching on Fox? Or maybe its just that Foxboro is smaller? Not sure, but I noticed the difference and it was driving me nuts...

I have to say both games today were great games.

Good luck on moving on who ever your routing for.

Hello!

I am from the burbs, almost near Foxboro, MA myself and for years I wasn't much of a fan, but with dh, ds, and having people over, I have learned to like it!
The last few years have been fun!
I watched the entire game and was on edge!
But being the so called underdogs for so long, as many tv stations still refer to NE teams to still be* I knew they'd pull through!:yay:

Good luck Patriots! great game!!!!!:rolleyes1

Underdogs, no=great team yes!!:dance3: :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

yea pats!!

FOX coverage is much better - I hate CBS, but they have the AFC games so we're stuck with them. The game wasn't in Foxboro today, it was in San Diego, but I don't know anything about the size of their stadium.

Woohoo! Yay Pats!! I was absolutely nauseous for the last two and a half minutes of this game - whew!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

After Nate Kaeding's field-goal attempt, New England players were seen taunting the Chargers by dancing on the team's helmet at midfield.

Linebacker Rosevelt Colvin made a choke gesture. Defensive lineman Vince Wilfork, and Coner back Hobbs(I think, whoever #27 is) mimicked Shawne Merriman's "Lights Out" dance out ontop of the Chargers logo.

Yes somebody showed NO-CLASS, but IMO it was not LT.:rolleyes1

In Belicheck we trust and he says, one game at a time, so we'll have to get through the Colts first. I'm old enough to remember the last time the Pats met the Bears in the Superbowl. In case it comes to that, will the Bears give us an updated rendition of the "Superbowl Shuffle" :dance3: ?

You were just jealous! ;)

I'm surprised the announcers didn't mention any of that last night- they so wanted San Diego to win.

LT was an absolute cry baby. The media and all of the commentators (except Boomer) said all week that the Pats could not win. I think LT thought this game was a "gimme" and guess what- they lost. He still has the ProBowl to look forward to as well as half his team.... they can take solace in that.

my husband and son could care less about football. My daughter and I are the fans. She usually watches the game with me but she had her holiday party last night. Of course when the Pats won, the phone was ringing!!! I guess all the men at her party left the function room and headed for the bar in the final 2 minutes.

She has next Sunday off so I'm sure she'll be joining me in my sewing room to watch the game, her boyfriend is not a football lover either.

I'm still walking around the house muttering how the *bleep* did they ever win that game? :rotfl:

We watched the Chicago/Seattle game too. All I've got to say about both games is pass me a tranquilizer. :faint:
