Patriots vs Steelers

I would try the Sports Cafe at the World of sports..the food is excellent, large tvs everywhere.

We were in EPCOT taking an Illuminations cruise during the 3rd. WS game this year. Our cruise guide was kind enough to go over near ESPN and yell for the score for us. I can only say the place looked packed! :earseek: DD, 7, asked if we were going to see her buddy Curt again when I jokingly referred to the Super Bowl as the WS! Good luck and have a blast. It really looked like a lot of fun from the boat. :wizard: GO PATS!

I may stay right at the hotel for the game, don't want to spend the whole day at ESPN while at Disney, so maybe the bar at the POLY is the way to go.

GO PATS

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We're leaving DW on Friday before the Super Bowl. Bummer, because the day after the game I would love to see Big Ben heading up the MK parade! But who knows, maybe we'll get to see some Steelers there before the Super Bowl enjoying a day with the family.

:earboy2:

I was just coming to ask where in MGM we could watch the game...DH and sons will want to be glued to a TV, but we have to wait for Fantasmic to be over! Hopefully, we won't miss much. GO PATS! We'll have our Pats shirts and hats on!

<--- this Pats fan was at ESPN on the Boardwalk for last year's Superbowl. We didn't get there as early as we should have, but by standing around with the masses we got a booth in the bar. I wouldn't suggest doing it that way but it is an option. If you are able to get a seat make sure you order the wings!!! Oh and get this....Disney must run a delay because we (everyone in the bar) knew nothing about Janet's wardrobe malfunction. As a bonus we got to see Mickey and Drew pose for the press the next day. If I had posting privliges (when do they kick in?) I'd attach the picture :o(

The Tambu Lounge is one of my favorite places to be in WDW. The atmosphere is wonderful, they have delicious drinks, and a good sized tv for the game. ;) That would be my choice of where to watch it, even if I werent staying at the Poly. ;)

I'd say it all depends.

If you're a Pats fan, go someplace where you can celebrate their victory.

If you're a Steelers fan, stay in your hotel room and just ask your self "How is it that the Pats always find a way to win the big game?"

AWESOME! Loved that quote!

Can't answer your questions...but I just had to say.. AHEM...

GO STEELERS!

:earboy2:

Wanted to third (or fourth) this! Wherever you go, have lots of tissues with you... If you're staying concierge, the lounge will have the game on without the craziness. If you're into craziness, get to the ESPN Club very early!

I agree with ya Goofydad621! How about we hold all those tissues for the crying, sobbing Steeler fans??? :charac2:

I live on the South Shore in MA- trying to dig myself out of this snow we just got...hoping the weather will warm up a bit in Disney!

Here we go Steelers, Here we go...

DH had to watch a Pittsburgh/Miami game during one of our trips. He watched it at ESPN. We were sitting outside in the rain waiting for them to open so he could get a good spot! Yes, it will be packed. He stayed and watched the game while I walked around Epcot. I'd come back and check on him but I got to do some shopping too.

But don't worry, since the game is late you can just go back to your resort and cry in peace.

Harligirl where on the south shore, I'm in Whitman.

GO PATS!!!!!

I'd watch at ESPN but you'd need to be there all day for both games if you want a good table.

We agree and also are Pats fans. I have a feeling we might we watching this from the lounge at the AKL. ESPN seems like it will be too out of control.

Does anyone know if the All Star Cafe will be open? That seemed a little less crazy then ESPN.

We're staying at Pop Century and DH desperately wants to watch the game - looks like ESPN would be out of the question. Pop's bar is outdoors and it looks like we're going to be in the low 40's - that doesn't sound so great either. Any other suggestions on where to watch?

We were at AKL last year at this time for the same playoff game. DH a HUGE PATS fan. He started out at the pool bar - lots of New Englanders there, but ended up in our room SCREAMING at the TV! The kids and I stayed out on our balcony watching the animals outside - and the animal inside! LOL!

GO BRADY and DILLION!!!!!!

I guess we'll see, but don't worry--after Sunday, Brady will have the entire off season to recover from the punsihment he takes from the Steel Curtain...
