Patriots vs. Bears

I'm leaving in a few minutes for the Patriots / Bears game. I like both teams, but I've been a Bears fan since Butkus played and the Patriots were in the AFL. So, please excuse me while I give an extra cheer to the Bears. The weather is supposed to be nice, so it should be a great day for football in Foxboro.

Diehard Pats fan here - I'm hoping today's game is a good one. If Brady and the defense can play like they did last week against the Packers, I think we have a chance!

Well having grown up in the Chicago area, I'm supposed to be rooting for the Bears. My husband went and opened his big mouth and told my FIL that while he would be rooting for the Bears, I would be cheering on the Patriots. Now my FIL thinks that I'm a traitor to the family.

Just getting my last minute DIS'ing in and computer shopping done so that I can sit down and watch Brady bury the Bears!! (whenever the Pats play the Bears, I think back to the mid 80's and the old Raymond Berry sloggin' "Berry the Bears"!! LOL!)

I can only remember the one game in the mid 80's between the two teams. It was a bit one sided.

It's kind of a meaningless game for the Bears. They almost have home field thru the playoffs. Everyone hoped they'd go 2-1 on the current road trip. They already won the first 2 so that's now worse case.

Patriots win 27-17...anyone could be 9-1 in the NFC...it's the girls division now.
