Frankly, they both stink. If you have to pick one of those two, the Nissan would be my choice. They have had some issues with CVT reliability, as has pretty much anyone who's used them, but the current gen Pathfinder has a revised one, so maybe it's improved. The Dodge offers decent value and is faster, but quality is not good. It's never been good with Chrysler and now that Fiat owns them, it's not going to get better.
If you must have a mid-size SUV (there are SO many better options than those things), the Pilot, Highlander, 4Runner, Sorrento are probably the best of the bunch.
Really don't want to rain on your parade, shopping for a new car is fun. But I'd also very strongly suggest looking at buying instead of leasing. Leases are designed with one thing in mind...make a ton of money for the dealer. It's their cash cow...at your expense.
