Pathfinder vs Durango

Im deciding between these two suvs for my next lease. I can't decide. Anybody have an opinions on either one? Pros and cons. Thanks!

Neither.
Transmissions as a disaster with the Nissan. (Google it if you want to see all the lawsuits filed over the CVT transmissions in Nissans)
Everything from Chrysler/Dodge is a disaster.
I'd look at the 4 Runner or Explorer first.

Agree. Nissan is known for faulty transmissions, especially the cvt. Chrysler I would stay away from. The Honda Pilot is nice along with the 4Runner and highlander.

Since it's a lease and hopefully you do not buy out the lease at the end, it should not matter.

Yes, it will be a 3 year lease and not buying out

Pilot is a good option too.
As long as you are not held responsible at the end of lease for a lower than expected market value, you should be fine with anything I guess.

Frankly, they both stink. If you have to pick one of those two, the Nissan would be my choice. They have had some issues with CVT reliability, as has pretty much anyone who's used them, but the current gen Pathfinder has a revised one, so maybe it's improved. The Dodge offers decent value and is faster, but quality is not good. It's never been good with Chrysler and now that Fiat owns them, it's not going to get better.

If you must have a mid-size SUV (there are SO many better options than those things), the Pilot, Highlander, 4Runner, Sorrento are probably the best of the bunch.

Really don't want to rain on your parade, shopping for a new car is fun. But I'd also very strongly suggest looking at buying instead of leasing. Leases are designed with one thing in mind...make a ton of money for the dealer. It's their cash cow...at your expense.
