Pathetic whine here, I'm cold

and I can't get warm. My heat is working fine, I'm dressed with a sweater on and I still can't get warm.

Hmm, time for a blanket too I guess.

It's the coldest January in 100+ years in NH...or something like that my FEET are always cold. We have blankets and fleece vests around all the time here!
So, I just had to share this picture from last June, outside Le Cellier at Epcot.....hot and humid!!! LOL

It's unusually cold here in Georgia, too, and I'm always cold--even in the summertime. Between my layers of clothing, having both the heat and fireplace on and snuggling under a blanket with the dogs, I'm driving dh nuts! Sending some warm thoughts your way...!

Kim, I've got a question. Is your fireplace near your thermostat?

Mine is and whenever I use it, the rest of the house gets really cold. So I don't use it much.

I am cold, my skin is dry and itchy (no amount of lotion helps), and despite emptying half a can of Static Guard, there is enough of a charge in my hair to light a small town.

I can't wait for spring!!!

I know what you mean, I am usually never cold, but I just can't seem to get warm this evening. I just HATE these single digit days!! DH had the early today show on this am, and they mentioned our town and it was only 4!!

Hi,

l6 below here in SE Minn right now and it's been bitterly cold for two weeks now.

I think the cold builds up in certain areas of the house that aren't as well heated, like the basement. This makes my upstairs floors cold and I had some veggies in my crisper freeze last night! Frig is on an outside wall.

Cabin fever is setting in here. This winter is a challenge.

I am soooo with you on this. I am never cold and this year I bought a polar fleece robe, fleece slippers, flannel nighties. I have socks on and am still having trouble feeling my toes.

The dry skin too. Man, the itching even with lotion. I am ready for hot, sweaty weather.

I am with you! I have been sleeping in my pajamas, robe and heavy socks! A lovely vision to behold, I'm sure! I had to take dd to a birthday party last night and when I came by the bank, the temperature read 2 degrees.

LOL, I can't sit down with my blanket alone! I have an entourage that follows me! One 6 lb dog and one 10 lb cat! The other cat is usually laying on top of the heat register! I told dh, "no wonder,it's cold in here, Lucky has his furry behind on top of the register."

Praying for warm and days!!!!
