Path between WL & FW

Just finished watching a show on the travel channel about the Wilderness Lodge...........I didn't know that there is a path between the lodge and FW that you can drive the golf cart on. Is this so? Or, is it just something they did for the show? If it's true, I'd like to know where it is, and if any of you have used it. It looks kinda cool, and something new for us to do on our upcoming trip.

You 'ustacould' drive the golf cart on the paved exercise trail from FW to WL. Not any more--not for the past several years. It was fun while it lasted, though.

It's a great walk and you can take the boat back if another mile and a half is too much.

I like to ride my bike on this trail early in the morning (around 6 am). The deer are out in force and you can literally ride right through the middle of the herd, since they are breakfasting on both sides of the path. They really have no fear of humans since they live in the protected confines of WDW.

Oh well, I fingured we wouldn't be able to use the cart...........might be a nice walk though. Thanks for the info.
