Basically they're hooking you up to what boils down to lie detector technology to figure out if you are happy, sad, about to barf, bored, overly excited, or scared out of your mind. Then the ride adjusts based on your sensed parameters. It would be a lot of fun to try to "trick" such a system and thus get different ride experiences. However, I see a lot of people not liking this tech not because of the sensing tech, but because they wouldn't get the same ride experience as someone else. Also, what happens when two riders in very different emotional states are in the same vehicle together? Is the most bland ride always chosen by default?
Of course, we may never know, because Disney may well choose not to develop this. More likely they would read your mood while on the ride to autodeploy merch in the gift shop at the end that they think you would be most likely to buy lol.
