PAT starts at 11am?

Sailing on the Magic -- the port arrival options start only at 11am (nothing is blacked out earlier; 11 is the earliest). But I've read elsewhere that the port actually opens at 10:30? Or does it sometime just not open until 11? Thanks!

Last time we sailed (December 2014), there was a 10:30 to 11:00 time slot available. We chose 11:00 to 11:30 because we didn't want to rush. Maybe they have changed it since then.

We are on the May 1st sailing and the earliest PAT time was 11:00. There was no 10:30 option for our cruise.

I was on the 3/31 sailing on the Magic and the earliest PAT was 11:00am.

I believe the Magic (and Wonder) have PATs starting at 11:00am out of Port Canaveral. The Dream and Fantasy, as larger ships with more passengers to process through, open the terminal at 10:30am.

When we sailed on the Magic out of Miami in October the earliest PAT available was 11 and we were sailing as Silver members. I did some research both on our cruise meet thread (here and on another social media platform) and found that 11 was the easiest. Like lanejudy said, with the smaller ships, they don't need as much boarding time.

Back in March for the Magic the earliest time was 11:00. We did DCL transportation from the airport, were on the first bus and were through security and in the terminal at 10:20.

First time cruisers have been able to book the earliest Port Arrival Times. And sometimes the earliest one are gone when the first time cruiser window opens.

It's hard to say.

And, keep checking back, if you don't get what you want. Sometimes people book one PAT, and then change it (or cancel the cruise).

On our first cruise on the Dream (it was a 3-day in July in 2014) we were able to get the earliest PAT so don't lose hope. But even if you don't, things move really quickly once they start boarding, even if you have the second earliest, you won't be onboard that much later.

Yes you can get in the port building earlier than the earliest PAT. I believe that is what you are asking? So get there a little early if you want to be inside and waiting when boarding starts. have a GREAT cruise.
