Pat Robertson comments....AGAIN!

I was flipping channels this morning and Pat Robertson was saying that God was bringing on the illness that Ariel Sharon is now suffering because he has given away land that belongs to God!

REALLY???

I thought this type of illness can just come on in older, overweight people!

Does that mean that everyone in the world who has ever had a stroke or brain surgery has done something to offend God??

I was telling a co-worker about what Pat Robertson said this morning. I see I was not the only one with this interpretation. He also said the same thing about Yitzhak Rabin, the former Prime Minister who was one of the people who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 and was assassinated in 1995.

I sometimes flip on the channel he is on for laughs, but this was more disgusting than usual.

I have to agree that PR has gone off the deep end, especially with the Israel thing. I'm what people would call a conservative "evangelical" Christian, and though I used to watch PR I just can't anymore. I strongly disagree with many of his opinions on world events/policies. He portrays his personal political opinions as Gospel (literally) and I believe that is wrong, and even dangerous.

I wonder how many people in the 700 Club had strokes and have different feelings now. He has to realize that many of his followers have had strokes right?
