I'm sorry, I thought we were in Iraq to "secure" it for the Iraqis from the insurgents. You know, to guard the police stations and schools, protecting the power plants and the hospitals. I thought that was the "goal". I wasn't aware (even if no one was attacking you at the moment) you couldn't do that without killing. I wasn't aware you couldn't have a mission in war that did something stupid like maybe kill as few people as possible to accomplish the said mission. I didn't know the main reason we sent our soldiers to Iraq was to kill as many people as we could. I now stand corrected.
