PAT changes overnight?

Anyone have this happen before? I did Silver online check-in at midnight last night for our Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. Chose the earliest time available, 11:30am. I checked this morning to see what is currently available and my time was switched to 11:15am. I didn't do anything to change it. I AM happy about this, I'd prefer earlier .. just confused as to why/how that happened. The 11:30 slot isn't listed anymore either. Oh, and boarding group is the same, 6.

I've had my PAT change. Most recently it went from 11:30 to 11:15 when we sailed out of Rome a few weeks ago. Not sure if BG changed (I don't think it did). The only reason I noticed is I had written 11:30 in my trip plan and then when DH was looking at our boarding passes they said 11:15.

Just a guess, but likely they don't have as many guests taking DCL transfers as they'd allowed for. Thus they can move up the PAT because there will be fewer bodies arriving with the earlier times.

Ours has adjusted magically twice recently- may it moved up an hour (1230-1130) and for July 15 minutes (1130 to 1115)

I've experienced this too, on the last two times I've sailed DCL (October 2024 and February 2025). I'm Platinum, selected the earliest possible PAT, and like all the posts above it moved to a previously unavailable empty slot a day or two later.

It is extremely common. In my last 5-6 cruises, I've always had my PAT move up by 15 minutes, with the boarding group usually staying the same. As others have indicated, there are a few theories as to why, the main one being lower than expected number of people using DCL transportation, opening up terminal capacity earlier than anticipated

I had one jump from 11:15 to 10:45. This was out of FLL, so I'm assuming the number of folks doing Disney transit is super low given how accessible that port is.
