Past Cruisers, #1 memory????

I think my favorite memory from our cruise was on Nassau Day when DH and I stayed on the ship!! We relaxed, did a spa treatment, walked around an empty ship. Had lunch at tritons and had like 4 waiters helping us since most of the ship was visiting Nassau. It was great to be able to walk around and have no where to go, and nothing that we HAD to do.
:D

(don't get me wrong, the rest was a BLAST too!!)

I think it would have to be the sail away with my family and my sister's family. We all had drinks, and we finally began to move and we saw all kinds of animals in the water-tons of stingrays and a manatee (this made my niece's day!!) The kids and the adults were all excited.

I could never pick just one thing. I loved it all.

If I had to pick one thing it would be the kids' show on the last day. DH of course would pick our attempt at joining the "verandah club".

Just got back from trip. It was sooo woderful I don't even know where to start. If had to name one Banana Boat was a blast.

My DD said she love Hercules the best. Rent the movie before you go. If you know the story i think it makes the show even more enjoyable. DD thought Pain and panic were just hilarious.

Sitting out on the verandah, sipping coffee, watching the sun rise with my hubby.... (before the rugrats woke up)

Brunch @ Palo is a very close 2nd....

I agree about Hercules. It was my favorite.

My best memory will be watching the sun set and then seeing the full moon come up. I missed Disney Dreams just so I could see it!

Mketting...I thing we were on the same boat! March 4 Wonder

I didn't see anyone from DIS. I forgot my lime green mickey from Home Depot.

Sailing out from Pt Canaveral on the verandah with daughters 4 and 7.
One of them asks me if maybe we'll see any dolphins.
I shrug and tell them maybe (inside thinking no way).
About 2 minutes later we see three of them along side of the ship.

I am still not sure if they were audioanimatronic , it is Disney afterall.

Meeting fellow dis'ers after about 1 year of daily communicating is my favorite. We had wonderful bushwackers at the top of Paradise Point in St. Thomas with a few of them and made some fun memories. We still talk daily with about 7 or 8 families after 2 years. We had a reunion this past Dec in WDW and then are having another one on the Magic this Oct. Can't be beat!

just one??!!
how about just the top "oneS":
~ sitting out on the verandah late at night with DH, DD, or DS(well, really about 2AM), the only sound the "whooshing" of the waves.....the darkness of night is much deeper at sea..........

~ sitting out on the verandah (sensing a theme here? lol) before the world awakens, sipping coffee & watching the sunrise

~ laying out on the top deck, away from the crowds, as reggae music plays, & DH bringing a (surprise!) "umbrella" drink

~ the 4 of us playing absolutely awful (our abilities, not the game itself) ping-pong, having more fun chasing the ball than hitting it

~ snorkling at CC (the stingray by my feet made that VERY memorable! ;) )

our most memorable were unplanned, truly *magical moments*

On our first cruise, it was a land/sea package, and I had gotten a cold during the land portion. So, the best part of the first cruise was lying in the sun, by the pool, napping. It felt so good, and was totally relaxing.

On the 2nd cruise, my favorite memory is snorkling in Trunk Bay. Absolutely breathtaking.

Close runners up:

- The first time I saw Disney Dreams
- Being in front of the horns when they sounded, and feeling that
first note through my chest.
- Meeting Don "Ducky" Williams, and getting a wonderful drawing of Tigger!
- Getting to know our tablemates during our 7 day cruise.
- Getting my first taste of Chocolate Souflee'
- Riding a Segway

I'll let you know what my favorite parts of our third cruise are, after June!

My favorite memory came about 1 month after our 2nd cruise. We were at friends for dinner (our 3 families had cruised together on the 2 cruises) and our 6 girls ages 9-15 came up to the dining room and put on a musical about why we should go back on the cruise for the third time...it worked we will be back next year!!

I was sooooooo worried we wouldn't because we had 8-13 foot swells the whole time and one heck of a wind storm the night before. It was wonderful walking off the ship and into paradise that morning. Wonderful!

Although it tugged at my heartstrings, I think the highlight of our cruise was having the kids be soooo upset every time they had to leave the kids clubs. You just knew they were having the time of their lives!

I would have to say that it was early in the morning on the last day (sea day).

We were going very slowly and I was out on my verandah. Fiance was on his verandah right next to me and the children were still asleep.

We noticed that the ship was turning very slowly around and we wondered why. As we turned we started to see, off in the distance in the direction the ship was turning away from, big thunder clouds and rain. As we turned further, the most beautiful rainbow appeared!

What was wonderful was that more and more people were coming out to their verandahs to look and it was just a quiet magical moment between all of us strangers as we smiled and pointed.

Needless to say, we went and woke the kids so they would always have that memory too.

After four 7 day DCL cruises my favorite time will always be sitting on the top deck with the love of my life to watch the sun go down.

It don't get no better than that!

Sitting out on our verandah every morning with my DW and our 2 grandsons (ages 5 & 7) having coffee, juice and bagels while waiting for the rest of our family to get up. It definately doesn't get any better than that.
