Past Commando Looking to Plan Ahead

Okay, so this November (Thanksgiving) will be my first FastPass+ trip. We will most likely be a party of 8, 4 adults, 3 kids, and a toddler.

We have always been Rope Drop people (I have no problem leaving behind anyone who chooses to sleep in). We also stay on property (they can join us when they get out of bed).

My current thought is to Rope Drop (maybe even EMH mornings) at one park to hit all I can and save my FastPass+ for the afternoon at either that park or a different one depending on which park we are at. By that I mean Rope Drop at Animal Kingdom (leave after parade) and FastPass+ Soarin or Space Mountain and the like.

Does this seem feasible? I am hoping they will have more of the kinks worked out by November and I know that Thanksgiving has always been a bit crowded, but it has never been a problem for us.

That sounds like a good idea, kind of what I was thinking. I'd love to hear back from some guests who have done this recently to see how to best make it work.
