Dan Murphy is coming to Atlanta, so we're going to have a fabulous DIS meet! It will be held at 6:45 pm on Thursday, June 5, at Slope's Bar-B-Que in the Alpharetta/Roswell area (off hwy. 92--near Crossville Road). PM me if you need directions. I hope to see you there!

I'm confused about the location. Are we atlking about the Slope's on Crossville RD in Roswell that's just off HWY 92? There's a Slope's in Alpharetta on Gateway Dr, which doesn't seem to be near HWY 92.

Well, I'm here in Atlanta, and looking forward to seeing a nice group of DIS'ers on Thursday. Should be fun.

Here are some directions from a couple different directions to make sure we all end up at the same Slope's :

Directions from GA 400 Northbound:

1) Exit on Mansell Road
2) Turn Left off the exit ramp
3) Cross Alpharetta Hwy. (Ga. Hwy. 9) and continue straight until you dead-end into Ga. Hwy. 92
4) Turn Right onto Ga. Hwy. 92
5) Slope’s BBQ will be about 1 mile on your Right

Directions from 75 Northbound:

1) Exit on 575 Northbound
2) Exit on Ga. Hwy. 92 East
3) Slope’s BBQ will be about 8-10 miles on your Left
***Note: you will have to pass Slope’s and make a U-turn to enter it since there is a median in the road***
