I just read on another post that Sea World is also raising ticket prices next week. The article just mentions single day tickets, does anyone know if this would include an increase for passports or fun cards? We are contemplating buying our first passport (we were mulling over a Fun Card, but the discounts with the passport seem so much better), but since we are Canadian, we were going to wait a little while longer (we are going 2nd week of March & July) since our dollar is doing so well.

Any info about Passports would be greatly appreciated - also, does anyone know if Canadians can do the EZ pay montly plan? I'm not sure if I'm going to get a chance to call them tomorrow for this info.

Thanks, Tiger aka Piglet's Momma

I don't know why they wouldn't let you. we've got the platinum passports. we just use a debit card and they W/D the money each month from our checking account. they send you a voucher, and you redeem it at guest relations for your passes. it's simple, if you don't pay, they deactivate your passes, and you're faced to pay the total remainder of the account.

Thanks for the info - do they only deduct using a debit card, or did you have the option of using a credit card? My husband is a banker, and normally (as is the way with our DVC dues), as International guests, we can't use our debit cards for monthly deductions, as our only option is a one-time credit card debit.

Also, does the Passport start the day you purchase it, or does it activate when you produce your voucher?

Hopefully I'll get a chance to call them in the next few days to double-check.

Have a great day, Tiger aka Piglet's Momma

My DH went to order our tickets online this morning, and guess what? All tickets increased in price - Gold Passports went up $10.00 a person, and Silver passports went up $5.00 a person. Not much of a price increase when spread out montly over 2 years (we are buying Gold Passport).

Also, for other Canadians, we can use the EZ pay option (monthly) as long as we have a valid credit card.

Thanks for all info, Tiger
