Would you recommend the Passporter? I have been to Disney several times. I was just wondering if I should get it to have more information about the parks and a way to keep organized. Thank you for your help.

This is my favorite guide book for the returning visitor/frequent visitor.

For a first timer, the Unofficial Guide is excellent fun!

Thank you Buttercup Roberts. I am going to buy the Passporter Cruise Guide as well.

Passporter is great, I write in pencil and erase after each trip! I think I will spring for a new one this year... :)

If you are looking for indepth reviews, this isn't the book for you. However it is my favorite one. I have a lot of guide books, but this is the only one I actually take with me, it's got all the info I need.

I love my passporter. Keeps everything well organized. I have the the deluxe version so I can just take each day's folder out and put it in my backpack so that I have everything I need (PS confirmation, etc) in one handy place.

I was disappointed in my Passporter, but then again, I don't plan my WDW trips ahead of time to the extent that many people do here. To me, the Unofficial Guide is a lot more comprehensive.

You are correct-the UG is much more comprehensive and has a lot more information.

I do like the Passporter because it has great maps and is handy to record all your information- flight info, car rental, ps #'s. I also enjoyed the attraction descriptions.

I use both.

I have only been to WDW once and it was many years ago, with no planning. I have been planning this trip since October. I'm already finding my Passporter invaluable and will definitely be taking it with me to WDW.

Thank you for the responses. It is good to be able to get reviews from people who are new and vets to WDW on which guide to invest in.

I think passporter is o.k. I didn't feel like it had any information in it that was different- I like the Unoffical Guide b/c I think it goes more in depth.

The pockets are nice when planning I guess, but I just bought a cheap plasic accordian style file folder from wal-mart that I put everything in and I like that better.

Just got back from Disney yesterday, used a Passporter for the first time (received it as a gift). We've been to Disney about 30 times and didn't think we'd need it. Boy, were we wrong! It was great for the maps and trying to figure out where the closest bathroom/gas/counter service was-lot smaller and sturdier than the maps you pick up at the entrance. We didn't really use it as a 'memory maker' sort of thing but we might in the future. I was pretty pleasantly surprised that a 'veteran' like me would need it, but I did-it'll go with us all the time now (next trip, Labor Day Weekend with the 'rents!)

I have to agree! Altho I use a highlighter with both!! I just dont think I'm getting the way of how to use the Passporter - I too use a pencil, because I have to keep erasing!! My flights were changed, the times arent out yet for the parks, the maps are attatched in the spiral, so I dont know if I'll rip them out, or use UG...

also, remember both guides say 2005 they went to press before the MYW was out, so you go to the websites to update the info!! Which I much appreciate btw!!

I always reccommend going to the library, check them out, go to the bookstore, find a nice comfy corner and spend an hour, and read, and dream and decide what fits you best!!

I like to get the passporter b/c it holds all the extras and we bring home the stuff for scrapbooking. Its fun to look at when we return. :)

I have the UG too but my PassPorter goes everywhere with me at WDW!

I love my PassPorter!!!! It rocks!!

I had the Unofficial Guide. It has nothing positive to say and it reads like it was written while someone was smirking.
