At Amazon you can pay around 2.00 and get the digital upgrades to the book- I don't know if you have to buy the book thru Amazon to be eligible, but might be worth looking into.

I consider the UG essential reading for newbies - like me, last year! It's also a great reference work.

I consider Passporter essential every trip, because of the Passpockets!

i prefer the Passporter. The maps are great and the pages in the back for your info and slots for receipts are also great.
The "Unofficial" I found not very helpful. Mainly cause I'm going in July and all it say's is to stay away during the summer all through the book.

The Unofficial Guide truly made our last trip Amazing. I can't say enough great things about their well researched touring plans and how effective they really are.

I also like to use their website as a companion to the book. They will post book updates, updated touring plans with the new rides, and recent WDW news so you feel like you are constantly getting the most up to date version the whole yearl

For someone who really likes to do the research and planning, the Unofficial Guide is the only choice for me.

I have done both... I like the PASSPORTER for the organization in the back of the book. However, If you compare your Passporters with Passporters from years past... they are IDENTICAL word for word information... with a few things that are changed here and there.. and those words are acutally HIGHLIGHTED in the newer book!
I know they have a passporter that is a binder style... maybe you can just buy the back pages to that I don't know... But as far as buying multiple Passporters for Info its a waste...
Also bulky and you wouldn't want to carry it around the park... so its more of preplanner tool!!
Still Love mine though!
