Passporter Questions!

Okay, I have done 2 Disney Cruises and several trips to Disney without aid of a Passporter, but now after reading all the great reviews of it I am convinced I need one for our upcoming 3rd Disney Cruise.

My questions are
1) If I am not going on the West Coast cruise, should I wait for the 3rd edition or just get the 2nd edition? Will there be stuff I need in the 3rd that is new since the 2nd? (Pirate night, changes to Kid's programming, shows, etc.)

2) If I get the deluxe binder edition then when we go to Disney World next summer can I just buy the Disney World refills to go in my binder from my DCL cruise this year?

Thanks!

I don't know if I know the answer, but you may want to check out their web site: passporter.com. Then you'll be able to see what they sell and whether or not you could just buy "re-fills".
I can tell you I have the second edition and there isn't much on the West Coast cruises, as it was still "speculation" when the book came out. I'd bet there would be more info. in the third edition. But their web site does have lots of good info. and you can sign up for email newsletters, etc.
Hope that helps! :flower:

I called the passporter people and asked this same question. I was curious because we're cruising in May and the new passporter won't be out until mid April or later. They told me that the main differences in the 3rd edition will be the West Coast cruise and the longer cruises. Not much difference in the 3 and 4 night Wonder cruises. They advised me to just go ahead and purchase the 2nd edition.

I don't know if you've done two other disney cruises...that you'll get all that much out of it. Most if not all of the tips and Q&A's that you would want to know can be found right here on the boards. The best thing about having the passporters is you can take it with you anywhere....where the Dis Board is a little harder to pack around ...everywhere. :)

And Yes if you got the deluxe version you can just get the refills for WDW..or later on even a newer version of DCL.

I think on the passporter web page....they have a sample of the passporters that you can print off or just look at on line.....maybe it would be a good idea to check it out before you ordered.

Thanks for the info everyone! I'll check out the web page and see if it looks like any information I don't already have.

Does anyone know when the 3rd edition is coming out. i wanted to wait until it comes out to purchase. but i am not a very patient person!! :confused3
