I want to order the Passporter and amazon has the best price but does anyone know if it really takes that lonmg to receive it?

Thanks

From what I understand, there was a problem with the printer overseas. When they did make it to the states, they were stuck in CA due to the weather and only recently have started to make it to the distributors.
They should hopefully be shipping soon.

They have it over on www.overstock.com for less and shipping is only $1 :flower:

Over on Barnesandnoble.com it states they will not start shipping until 2/28.

Thanks for all the info!!! the ones on overstock.com and the barnes and noble site are both 2004 editions so I think I may just go with amazon.com> We're not leaving for several months but I like to get everything organized early!!!

Thanks

I just received an email this week from Passporter explaining the whole problem with the shipping. They will be sending all preorders out first which is probably why Amazon will not have their supply to ship for a while. As of last Wednesday Dave and Jen still hadn't received the initial shipment yet.

I was really sorry to hear about the delays this year. When we left on the 11th without the 2005 refill we canceled our order. We just returned on Friday and had to use the 2004 version. I did print out updated information from the Passporter website and added it to my book to take with me. It still was the best guide we own.

Buy it....you won't regret it.

Despite canceling my order because I have already returned from my trip, I received my 2005 Passporter Deluxe refill yesterday. I guess I can use it to help plan some of my trip in 2006. After receiving it I was glad it was here. Looking through it reminded me of my trip and started giving my ideas for next year. Definately worth the wait.

I was seriously thinking about purchasing the Deluxe just to have the leather binder...someone please tell me it's worth the price. What is the quality like?

Amirah95 - I purchased the Deluxe last year and I don't regret it at all. The leather binder has places in the inside for additional papers, credit cards etc. I found it really easy to add in updated pages because of the binder and not worry about losing them. I was unable to receive my 2005 update before my trip this year but still used my 2004 version. I just printed updated information from the Passporter site (and this site as well) added it to my binder and off I went. The information in fantastic and I used the binder to hold receipts, postcards purchased, park maps and other papers I use for scrapbooking. The daily pockets (located in the back) was a safe place for keeping PS confirmation numbers, airline and travel info etc. I could not have planned my last 2 trips without the Passporter and highly recommend the Deluxe version for all its features. The park maps that come with the book are removable and can easily be brought to the parks daily. Love it , Love it, Love it. Worth the money if you are going more than twice over the next few years.

I love my deluxe Passporter. I don't think I could take a trip without it. I put everything in there. Sometimes it was so full I couldn't snapp it shut, and I had even taken some of the pages out that I didn't feel we needed to take with us.

I ordered my 2005 Passporter from Overstock yesterday. They are supposed to have them by March 1 and ship within 2-3 days after that.
The price, including shipping, was $15.64.

I love the Deluxe Version - I just received the 2005 edition! I couldn't be happier. It's so much better than the spiral book - I highly recommend it! :goodvibes

OK I was all set on ordering the regular version. Now you've got me thinking I should get the deluxe LOL So it is like a three ring binder?? That sounds more versatile! But it has all the same pages right?

I used my deluxe for 4 trips. It was great I just ordered more passpockets for each trip. We had AP's and I just kept them in my deluxe binder in between trips, my Disney Rewards card is in there as well as all tip envelopes and everything we needed for our trips.

It was funny, everyone in the family was scared to touch. DH moved it one evening and I freaked out because I couldn't find it, from then on no one touched it, even if I asked them to bring it to me, they made me go get it. :rolleyes1

I love love love my Deluxe Passporter!

I just ordered my passporter from Amazon.com and it gave me a ship date of March 7. Hope it comes :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:
