passport??

I don't have a passport. I have my original Birth Certificate and ID. I also have a copy of my marriage certificate. Has anyone out there gotten on the ship with the same documents I have? I really don't want to get a passport right now if I don't have to.

With BOTH an original birth certificate and picture ID you should be fine. On our first few trips this is how we traveled, but later, in an attempt to cut down on airport inspections, etc, we got passports. But we have seen plenty of people with the BC and ID combo traveling happily.

A passport is good to have for more then just a cruise. They're good for 10 years and well worth the time and effort. I'm glad I got mine.

I agree with the previous posters, what you have will be fine, but, in my opinion, a passport is much easier to carry around with you.....I think we paid $85 and after 10 years the renewal fee is $55 ..... Andy

You do not need a copy of a marriage certificate. The majority of women on the cruise have a current name other than the one on the birth certificate. Adults need a certified birth certificate and a current photo ID (usually a driver's license.) Children (under 18) need only a birth certificate.
