On the Disneyworld site there is a special area for passholders. Access to this site is restricted by requiring codes from the passes to be entered.

Can you get into this site if you have a voucher? Do you need an activated Pass?

Thanks

The website will ask for a set of numbers coded on the bottom of your "activated" AP. DO you need to find out anything specific?

I was wondering the same thing. I have the voucher, but would like to check out the website before my trip. Would someone PM me their numbers so I can check it out or post here what is on the website?

Maybe nothing is there that is really worth checking out. I looked at the Universal annual pass information last night (we have Universal APs) and was surprised at the lack of information.

Thanks, T&B

there is nothing there that cannot be found either here on the DIS or here: http://allearsnet.com/pl/apass.htm#ent

I am not sure I would want to share my AP numbers with anyone, would you?

I'm just glad to see they finally made the addition to the web page! I have ranted and screamed for quite a while with Disney over this...especially when I am not a FL resident, but as an annual passholder still deserving of the same treatment. I even went as far as calling and speaking to someone in customer service about it.....the only bad thing??? Now thatt hey have the site open...I don't have the pass....just a littletoo expensive for every year..we buy every other year and maximize our trips. Oh well, a new one coming in October!!! I'll check it out then, I guess!

Not sure how good the site is. I have an AP, as does my grandson, both still active and can't for the life of me figure out how to get into it. I've tried entering our numbers, but it doesn't seem to like anything I try.

Yes, as a matter of fact I have shared things like this. I wouldn't do it on a public board (only through PM or E-mail) and I would think through if anything harmful could be done with the information. I know that I've seen fan club numbers for either Universal or WDW (or whatever it was called at WDW) shared so a person could access information. This was a while back and I don't remember all the details.

I'll check out the allears.net site. It seems that WDW would put a number on the vouchers so that the info could be accessed before a person visits. At least I don't remember seeing any numbers on my voucher, I suppose I should double check.

n2mm,

I finally figuered out what numbers they wanted.

On the back of your pass there is a series of numbers in the lower right hand side. Mine is 3 letters, three digits, date the pass was printed and another 2 digit code. I entered ALL of these numbers, including the / in the date and it gave me access.

The allearsnet site lists the benefits to having an annual pass. I think what I was wondering is if there is anything on the passholder site (or in the newsletter, for that matter) besides the benefits of having an annual pass (ie, anything special going on in early February that I should be aware of before my visit). Maybe there isn't anything, but if there is anything special going on it would be nice to know about it before my visit as opposed to after.

Thanks for the link, regardless. I will bookmark it to remind myself of the benefits. I assume they give a flyer or annual pass sleeve with these discounts listed when the pass is activated, right?

Thanks, T&B

I just have to say, you are far more trusting than I. :)
It would be nice if they gave you numbers on the voucher, but, they don't as they need an expiration date to enter the site.
I do have a confirmation number on my will call voucher, but, they don't work.

yes, there is a sleeve and somewhere on this board there is a link to the annual passholder newsletter. Geez, I wish the search function worked.

Hmmm, trusting. I'll have to ponder that one. lol Of course I don't have my first and last name on the boards. :teeth: Unless that's your alter ego...

What is the deal with the search--why is it disabled so often?

good point, it is my real name, but, no one will find me, nothing is listed in my name.

Not sure about the search.

That's the kind of thing that I worry about more than someone having my fan club number. When I'm at the grocery store I don't chat with the cashier about vacation plans, etc (or at least not details about when I'd be gone) for fear that someone will overhear and know when I'd be out of the house on vacation. Also, I try to shred anything with personal information to help guard against identity theft. I'm generally not a paranoid person...except for all the people out to get me. :teeth:

LOL!!!! When we travel, on the way out, I put the resort address on the luggage tag, on the way back, we put the home address.
I am not paranoid, just very protective of myself.

Nope, that's not protective, that's smart. We used to put my DHs work address on the luggage, but now he works at home!
