I just checked on the AP site and that's not what the new rates and rules section for the Pass Holder Rates says.

The new rules states that cancellations must be made 46 days prior to arrival for a full refund of the deposit.

Just a friendly FYI. :)
I still can't get in to the passholders' website but mousesavers is stating that there is a different cancellation period for phone bookings vs. online bookings. If you booked over the phone, there is no penalty to change/cancel your reservation if you do so more than 5 days before check-in. If you booked online, you must change/cancel at least 46 days before check-in to avoid cancellation fees.

Given that we've been hearing Disney wants to cut costs by having people book online rather than calling CRO, that's a major disincentive!

As of last month, we were told that the online booking with strict rules would be permanent. But I am SO glad, and I hope that everyone writes to Disney and thanks them! I know of passholders who want to do the Everest opening, but they wouldn't have been able too get passholder rooms otherwise!

Denise

I plan and writing and saying, "thank you ....thank you....thank you!!!!". They should get the positive too!!!

Wow...that's interesting that as of last month they were thinking it would be permanent. Lucky us.

I think this is a great idea! They have responded to all of us in a positive manner. The least we could do is say a big "Thank you" back. No doubt they read these boards. Maybe a Sticky message at the top we could all post to instead of bombarding them with emails? What do you say moderators?
