Passholder Preview??

I finally called the DVC preview number. It was very painless except the dates weren't as convenient. I also sent an e-mail stating my overall disappointment in the whole process.

The only other preview I ever got to was for Soarin. Such an easy process. Walked up to the gate, showed pass, went in and road Soarin. That was it. It was on a weekday, very uncrowded. I supposed the weekends were more crowded but it was so simple.

I just got a pretty neat email from Disney... :) Here is what it said:

///
We are aware that you may have experienced challenges while trying to sign up for a New Fantasyland preview earlier this week. We understand how precious your time is and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

The demand for New Fantasyland has exceeded even our expectations and we are working quickly to create additional preview opportunities. We expect to be able to provide more details by the middle of next week via email, as well as at www.disneyworld.com/passholder and on our Disney World Passholders Facebook page.

We value the special relationship we have with you as a Passholder and want to assure you that we are committed to making every experience you have with us the best it can possibly be.

Sincerely,
Debbie Bellavia-Hart

I spent an hour Monday registering for the preview, and 45 min Tuesday seeing the new fantasyland before the Mnsshp....

Maybe I'm a snob, but as a passholder when they offer me something special I expect it to be special and not just them cramming something in so they can say they did something for the passholders....

Totally agree with the bolded. I spent time and booked date in Nov. for a special event. But I can show up at the park today (still mid Oct. in my book) and i can take a preview??? How is that a special event??

I agree with who ever said this should be handled like the sorin preview.

A couple of years ago they did a special event for the anniv of expedition Everest. Now THAT was a special event... It rocked, that was how you do a passholder event

We got in for Nov 11 at 12:30. We are a group of 6. A person in our group works from home so he refreshed for over an hour but finally got us all in.

Yes,it seems like there just aren't doing Passholder events like they used to do them.:)

I was able to do the Passholder Cinderella Castle Dream Suite Tour a few years ago and also took the Passholder Tour of the American Idol Experience before it opened-both were wonderful events.:)
